Getting started

1

Choose your response

Open Anti-Nuke. Dangerous-role removal is the default; choose Alert only if you are testing.

2

Set trusted users and thresholds

Set the action threshold and rolling window, select a private incident channel, and exempt only trusted users or roles.

3

Check Discord permissions

Give the bot View Audit Log and Manage Roles. Its role must sit above the staff roles it may need to remove. Owners and this bot are always exempt.

4

Review incidents

The dashboard records the actor, action count, and removal outcome. Deleted channels and messages are not restored.

Settings reference

Use this reference when you need to check what a setting does.

Action threshold

2–50 destructive audit actions by the same actor, including mixed action types.

Window

10–300 seconds; default 30.

Trusted users and roles

Excluded before detection. Review exemptions regularly.

Response

Remove dangerous roles or record an alert only.

Troubleshooting

No roles were removed

Check Manage Roles, bot role hierarchy, trusted roles, and the recorded outcome. Managed roles cannot be removed.
