Sticky Messages
Keep channel reminders visible with message thresholds, cooldowns, and controlled reposting.
Getting started
Choose a channel
Create a sticky rule with the reminder content and optional title for the selected server.
Control reposting
Choose how many messages trigger a repost and the minimum cooldown. Use conservative values to keep conversation readable.
Enable and observe
Enabled rules are queued for the bot. Verify the actual channel after the cooldown, then inspect the rule's state.
Recover carefully
Pause a rule to stop future work. If delivery needs review, check Discord before acknowledging it. Removing a rule preserves existing Discord messages.
Settings reference
Use this reference when you need to check what a setting does.
Messages required before a reminder becomes eligible for reposting.
Minimum wait between reposts.
Stops future work; an in-progress send may finish.
Acknowledges an uncertain delivery after staff inspect the channel.
How it works
Here’s what happens once you’ve finished setup.
- 1Staff
Configures and enables a channel rule.
- 2NightCrew
Waits for the threshold and cooldown, then attempts a repost.
- 3Staff
Checks attention states before allowing another attempt.
Example
Use a short reminder with a conservative threshold and cooldown, observe a test channel, then enable it in the intended community channel.
Permissions

- Embed Links when used
Things to know
Removing the rule does not delete messages already in Discord.
Troubleshooting
Check enabled state, cooldown, message threshold, worker status, and permissions.
