Dashboard Logs

Search, investigate, and export the selected server's dashboard audit trail.

Updated October 21, 20262 min read

Getting started

1

Review the overview

Use 24-hour volume, seven-day high-risk events, unique actors, flagged investigations, trends, and top actors to spot unusual activity.

2

Filter precisely

Filter by staff/member view, category, severity, actor name or ID, action, date range, and free-text detail.

3

Inspect an event

Expand a row to see its stable audit ID, exact UTC timestamp, actor ID, action, and full recorded detail.

4

Investigate

Flag an event and add a private staff note. Review metadata is stored separately so the original audit event is not edited.

5

Reuse and monitor

Save common filter combinations and optionally enable 30-second live refresh during an active investigation.

6

Export evidence

Download the current filtered result as CSV or JSON, up to 10,000 server-scoped records.

Settings reference

Use this reference when you need to check what a setting does.

Severity

Informational, warning, or critical classification derived from the action name.

Actor

Discord user or automated identity recorded with the event.

Audit ID

Stable NC-AUDIT identifier for support and investigations.

Flag

Private marker that adds the event to the investigation count.

Review note

Private staff context stored separately from the immutable event.

Saved view

Reusable combination of filters for one server.

Export

Current server-scoped filters written as CSV or JSON, capped at 10,000 rows.

How it works

Here’s what happens once you’ve finished setup.

  1. 1
    Action

A dashboard or internal operation records actor, action, detail, and UTC time.

  2. 2
    Review suggestions

Severity and overview metrics help staff locate meaningful events.

  3. 3
    Investigation

Staff inspect, flag, and annotate the event without editing it.

  4. 4
    Evidence

A filtered export can be retained under the server's own privacy policy.

Example

EXAMPLE
Configuration investigation

Filter Warning and Critical, action `settings`, the affected date range, and the staff actor; flag the relevant event and add the ticket or incident reference.

Tips

i

Dashboard Logs records dashboard and internal operational actions. Advanced Logging controls Discord event delivery to log channels.

Things to know

!

Exports can contain staff names, Discord IDs, and operational detail. Store and share them as private administrative evidence.

Troubleshooting

An expected event is missing

Confirm the action uses the NightCrew dashboard and that the correct server was selected.

Export is shorter than expected

Exports intentionally stop at 10,000 rows; narrow the date range and export in batches.

Live refresh stops

It is page-local; enable it again after navigation or reload.
