Community
Polls
Create native Discord polls, follow voting, and manage the full draft-to-results workflow.
Getting started
Set creation rules
Open Polls and review the member creation permissions and defaults before allowing community polls.
Prepare a draft
Choose a channel, question, answers, duration, and whether members can select multiple answers. Review the draft before publishing.
Publish explicitly
Publish sends the native poll to Discord. Members vote on the Discord message.
Follow results
Refresh results, filter open or closed polls, and archive finished records. If delivery is uncertain, inspect the Discord channel before taking another action.
Settings reference
Use this reference when you need to check what a setting does.
Saved poll configuration that has not been published.
Allows more than one selection when configured before publication.
Determines when native Discord voting closes.
Publication or synchronization needs review before another action.
How it works
Here’s what happens once you’ve finished setup.
- 1Staff
Creates and reviews a draft.
- 2Discord
Publishes the native poll and collects votes.
- 3Dashboard
Synchronizes results and retains the archived record.
Example
Draft a poll with three games in a private test channel, publish, cast a vote in Discord, then refresh results before using it publicly.
Permissions
- View Channels
- Send Messages
- Send Polls
- Read Message History
Troubleshooting
Inspect the target channel and synchronize before retrying; a network timeout does not prove nothing was sent.
Check the poll's expiration and closed state.
