Security
Automod Pro
Advanced rules for raids, suspicious accounts, links, invites, mentions, and spam.
Getting started
Apply a baseline
Use Balanced, Community, Strict, or Raid Lockdown. Presets add missing rules without deleting existing policies.
Choose protection
Detect spam, duplicates, mentions, invites, unapproved domains, caps, emoji, attachments, account age, suspicious names, or join raids.
Simulate safely
New custom and restored policies begin in simulation mode. Paste a sample into the simulator before enforcement.
Choose an action
Log, delete, warn, timeout, quarantine, kick, or ban. Repeat offenders can escalate automatically.
Review incidents
Review recorded cases, mark false positives, and respond to member appeals from the dashboard.
Prepare emergencies
Configure an incident channel and quarantine role before enabling Emergency raid mode.
Settings reference
Use this reference when you need to check what a setting does.
Spam, duplicate, mention, invite, domain, caps, emoji, attachment, account-age, suspicious-name, or raid detection.
Count, percentage, or minimum age used by the selected protection.
Seconds during which messages, attachments, or joins are counted.
Log, delete, warn, timeout, quarantine, kick, or ban.
Records a match without deleting content or punishing a member.
Ignored channels and exempt roles scoped to one policy.
Violation count and hour window used to advance repeat offenders.
Staff-only destination for case number, member, rule, action, and matched reason.
How it works
Here’s what happens once you’ve finished setup.
- 1Event
A message or member join reaches Auto Moderation.
- 2Exceptions
Administrators, message managers, ignored channels, and exempt roles bypass applicable policies.
- 3Active policies
Evaluate safely until the first rule matches.
- 4Case
NightCrew records evidence, applies or simulates the action, logs it, and optionally DMs the member.
- 5Staff
Resolves the incident or marks a false positive; members can appeal with /automod-appeal.
Example
Apply Balanced, configure #security-log, keep new policies in simulation for 24 hours, then enable progressive discipline after reviewing matches.

Increase the join limit or shorten the window.
Select a quarantine role and place NightCrew above it in Discord.
Add bare domains such as youtube.com to the policy allowlist.
Return the policy to simulation, mark incidents as false positives, and tune its limit or exceptions.
